10 Best Champs To Climb Ranked Split 1 on Patch 14.7
Yuriy SheremetLeague of Legends is known for its champions with unique sets of abilities and functionalities in the game. And if you want to increase your rating in the game, you can't hide from the grind.
To progress in Solo Queue, you need a lot of time to hone your skills and understand the character, which will ultimately bring more LP and help raise your rating. However, spending dozens of hours sometimes can be irrational. That's why we decided to compile a selection of 10 champions for you, which are the easiest to raise your rating with in patch 14.7.
In our ranking, we selected 2 characters for each role that, in our opinion, have the simplest "entry threshold" and do not require micro-level skill like Keria or Chovy and which will definitely help you climb to the top of the first split in 2024.
Top Lane
Malphite
In our opinion, the simplest and no less effective champion for the top lane in patch 14.7 is Malphite. This rocky giant can easily compete for the title of the best top laner of the patch, not just the first.
Malphite's strength lies in his consistency. This champion remains untouched for countless patches and consistently tops all tier lists. And it's not for nothing.
Malphite comfortably handles almost any 1v1 matchup thanks to his universally good, and most importantly, simple abilities. In unfavorable matchups, such as against Vayne or Illaoi, you can always max and harass from a distance, and once Malphite reaches level 6, he can solo kill any champion. Add to this his passive shield ability and a huge amount of additional armor thanks to. Getting ahead initially, Malphite is hard to stop during the game on two items, and if the early game is lost, you can always focus on wave-clearing, destroying minion waves with +.
Urgot
The second champion we recommend for easy LP gain in the top lane is Urgot. He tends to be more frequently in Riot's area of interest and is occasionally changed, but in patch 14.7, he remains in one of the best forms since the days when he was used as an ADC.
Urgot's strength lies in dominating his lane. It's difficult to outfarm him in minions due to and very difficult to win early 1v1 fights due to the combination of +. Once he gets to Hullbreaker or Black Cleaver, his potential as a solo fighter increases exponentially. We won't even mention Urgot's ultimate ability, which almost makes PvP with him impossible.
Jungle
Master Yi
Master Yi is perhaps the most obvious choice of all possible ones. This champion has a reputation as the "favorite of noobs," but when it comes to climbing the rating and farming LP, all options are effective.
For a long time, this champion lagged behind more popular junglers due to a rather "choppy" playstyle: you need to farm, farm, and farm again, and only then annihilate everything on Summoner’s Rift using. With Season 14 and the rebalance of LoL's global meta, Yi has once again come alive and can now compete with S-tier champions.
Diana
If you prefer using magic in battles, then Diana is your choice for the jungle position. Moreover, in patch 14.7, she is one of the scariest nightmares for opponents, all thanks to her fairly simple abilities and their incredible effectiveness at all stages of the game.
Her shields from give her an advantage in early skirmishes with the enemy jungler, her passive ability + give her high jungle clear speed, and mobility with allows her to engage in early ganks in side lanes or mid. The combination of a magical assassin and a strong bruiser is very advantageous for climbing the rating.
Mid Lane
Aurelion Sol
If in the jungle the status of "favorite of noobs" easily goes to Master Yi, then in the mid lane, it rightfully belongs to Aurelion Sol. However, we are deeply convinced that everything except cheating is suitable for victory, and therefore Aurelion Sol is great for climbing the rating if you are a mid lane player.
Aurelion Sol became cosmically strong after his rework, and as long as Riot doesn't rush to nerf his scaling, it's worth using the champion. Don't be intimidated by his sluggishness in the early stages of the game: all you need to do is farm minions at least until you get Rylai’s Crystal Scepter, and ideally engage in fights after acquiring Seraph’s Embrace.
The recipe for victory for Aurelion Sol is very simple – blow onto the laid and everything dies by itself. Perfectly!
Lux
Lux can hardly be called one of the strongest mid laners in patch 14.7, but we are talking here about simple and effective champions, and she is exactly that. Moreover, unlike Aurelion Sol, Lux is not so dependent on scaling and feels equally good at any stage of the game.
She easily farms with her maxed, has survivability with. Yes, she is quite immobile, but this is compensated by burst damage from the combination of + + + and short cooldowns of abilities.
Bot Lane
Jinx
The flagship champion of League of Legends, the insane Jinx, is a true OP champion in patch 14.7. She is powerful practically at all stages of the game, and only falls behind at the very beginning, before getting Statikk Shiv or Kraken Slayer.
Jinx is strong, primarily thanks to her passive ability, which allows her to literally accelerate after killing an enemy or object. She also has a somewhat unreliable, but still CC, as well as the ability to quickly clear waves of minions and thereby farm quickly.
Ashe
Another powerful and fairly simple marksman of patch 14.7 is Ashe. She is not as mobile as Jinx, but compensates for this by reducing the mobility of enemy champions by reducing their mobility.
One of the nicest aspects of Ashe is that she can fight 1v1 thanks to her, and also has global control with, allowing her to be present in fights without being physically there.
Support
Janna
Janna has become one of the strongest and simplest supports in patch 14.7, displacing leading champions like Rakan, Thresh, and others, classic tank supports. All thanks to her ease of use and ability to "freeze" the lane.
This mage support easily protects from aggressive duo lanes with, provides sustain with, and harasses very annoyingly with her. Her ultimate ability can turn any teamfight in your favor.
Leona
If hit & run style fights aren't to your taste, and you want to win while being the shield of the team, then Leona is definitely for you. The same Leona in patch 14.7 hasn't gone anywhere and still feels great in the support position.
She has everything to create comfortable conditions for victory for her ally: a large amount of crowd control, immense durability, and the ability to easily engage in ganks. And Leona will be handy in massive teamfights with, making her an excellent partner in any composition.
