The semifinal matches have recently ended and we can already talk about the final match and the possible winner of the World Championship, but before doing this, we should analyze both matches of the 1/2 final.

Do I think this match was a premature ending? Yes. Regardless of the winner in the other semi-final pair, the skill of DAMWON and T1, for me personally, is at least a cut above.

Despite the high expectations from this match, it started out quite one-sided: T1 could not provide adequate resistance on the first map. Many have already written off Faker's team, but what was happening on the second and third maps made them change their minds. T1 showed their entire arsenal in their glory, the moment with Graves' counter-pick on the top was especially memorable. Against one of the strongest champions of this patch from Canna, a public storm appeared - Yasuo, and this was the simplest and at the same time the wisest decision. Faker was perfect for their tasks on the map, Gumayusi and Keria, albeit not as active, but just doing their job, making a big contribution to the overall victory over DAMWON.

However, DWG are the reigning world champions and cannot be underestimated. In a style similar to the first card, they took the fourth for themselves and turned the case to the decisive one.

Edward Gaming vs Gen.G

If the first semifinal match was really very good and I really enjoyed seeing the pure skill of the two strongest teams in the world, then the duel between Gen.G and Edward Gaming was extremely disappointing to me. I will not dwell on individual maps, but just go through the general points and express my subjective opinion about both teams.

Gen.G shouldn't have gone that far. As I said earlier, now only Bdd is playing in the team, and the rest only pale in comparison to him. After the first round of the group stage, I thought that they would not come out at all and in an amicable way it should have been, but the teams against Gen.G made very stupid mistakes, and this time they got into the grid, frankly, easier than everyone else. the rest and the first serious opponent, they met just in the semifinals.

Edward Gaming, in turn, quite expectedly made it to the semifinals, since they managed to show their skill in mechanical terms, and if the team was stronger against them, then I would give a prediction against them, but at the moment the mechanics decide too much, and the teams that use the space on the map competently is very small. I did not notice anything unusual in their game and this is actually bad for the Chinese, as they have to play against DAMWON KIA, who, in turn, are strong in all aspects of this game.
