Sixteen teams from North America, Europe, South America, Oceania, South East Asia and the Middle East will take part in the tournament, which takes place from July 6-9.

As before, the favourites for the tournament will be the European and North American teams. The main contenders for the title are Karmine Corp, Team Liquid, Complexity Gaming, Gen.G Mobil1 Racing and Team Vitality.
Format of Rocket League Championship Series 2022-23 - Spring Split Major
The championship will be played in a Double-Elimination grid format. The first round and quarter-finals of the top-feed, as well as the first, second and third rounds of the bottom-feed, will be played as BO5s (three wins). In turn, all remaining matches will be played in BO7 format (up to four wins). It is also important to note that the team qualifying for the grand final from the bottom reel will need to win two straight sets to win.
