Rumors: In God of War: Ragnarok, Kratos fights alongside Thor
Yuriy SheremetHardly any game has been as celebrated on the PS4 as the start of the new series of God of War. With the latest part about Kratos, Sony Interactive Entertainment managed to create a game that not only won numerous prizes, but is still one of the best years after its release. So it's no wonder that fans of the Spartan warrior are already longing for a successor. As reported on egamersworld.com, the publisher has so far been largely covered with regard to the plot and the official release date of the second part. Nevertheless, the rumor mill is already boiling loudly. A lot can already be guessed from the last scenes of God of War and the first announcements from Sony. We already know the biggest rumors!
Thor as an important character
Anyone who deals with Greek mythology can hardly avoid Thor, the god of thunder. The son of the god father Odin is known for his heroism and strength, his magic hammer can only be picked up and thrown by himself. A parallel to Thor could already be seen in the first part, because Kratos was equipped with his classic chain swords as well as an ax that he could throw and call back at the push of a button. In the course of the game Thor does not get a role, instead gods like Freya and Baldur are in the foreground. However, Thor gets a little appearance in the last scene. A fight seems to be developing between him and Kratos, but after a short exchange of words the moment ends with a cliffhanger. Fans now suspect that Thor will not be the next big enemy of Kratos, but could stand by his side in the follow-up part.
The representation of Thor
The fact that most people have now heard of Thor is not due to the lively interest in Nordic mythology, but much more to the Marvel comic book publisher, which brings several blockbusters to the cinemas every year. Thor, who is based on the mythological figure, is of course a little modernized in the comic book adaptations and corresponds to his classic description only in the basics. The film character has meanwhile got used to the modern earth and adopted many of the customs. The use of the high-tech equipment that all Avengers receive is no longer a problem for the god from Asgard. His temper has softened, in the team he can even sometimes back off and let the others' opinions prevail. If you deal with the old texts about Thor, the Marvel image has little to do with the characterization of the god of thunder. He is described as warlike and cruel when it comes to fighting his enemies. Thor has the attitude of a leader and does not let anyone restrict his actions. While the trivialized representation in the film is necessary for better or worse in order to be able to develop sympathy with the Marvel hero at all, games have so far increasingly relied on the original representation. In the Thor's Vengeance slot, the god of thunder glares at the players, the energy of lightning sparkling in his eyes. The title of the game also indicates the hero's vengeance. The slot can be played in the Samosa Casino, which is one of the best providers in the evaluation of casinos.de. The first impression of Thor in God of War shows a similar picture. Here the strong, courageous warrior is portrayed as a terrifying and angry tyrant. So one can only hope that he will quickly side with Kratos.

Ragnarok is imminent
The only clear piece of information the publisher has already shared with fans is about the theme of the upcoming game. The end of the world was heralded with the words "Ragnarok is Coming". In Norse mythology, Ragnarok describes the fall of the gods and thus the end of the old world, which is to be followed by a new one. Thor is also keen to stop Ragnarok in the sagas, which in turn could indicate involvement in the game. Although the storyline of God of War does not follow the mythological model too strictly, some important details have already been adopted. In mythology, the end of the world is triggered by the death of Baldur. This is actually invulnerable and feels no pain, which is why he became the most dangerous enemy for Kratos and Atreus in the first part. However, by means of a ruse, the two managed to hunt down Baldur. According to Nordic legend, Baldur's death was followed by a three-year winter that heralded the fateful end of the gods. According to speculation, part two of the game series will begin after these three years, because the end of the world should ultimately be the focus.
The game God of War: Ragnarok is already eagerly awaited by gamers. If all goes well, the game should be released for the PS4 and PS5 later this year. Then we will finally find out what role the god of thunder will play in the coming part.
