Of course, the control of the new title differs from the original, because Wild Rift can be played on the touch display of a smartphone or tablet, as well as on the controllers of the Xbox One and PS4. With the latter, players can expect twin stick controls that are unusual at first, but which are perfect for the game. There are also some changes in the gameplay, because you can see differences especially in the gap. The rounds on the game's most popular map will be shortened to around 15 minutes, and the rift has received a new fine-tuning. What remains the same: Here players can fight 5-on-5 fights in PvP mode, which is why they are still perfect for eSports tournaments.
Mobile games: smartphone as a new console?
The fact that League of Legends: Wild Rift is finally released as a game version for consoles probably did not surprise anyone. Although there are always discussions about whether game consoles offer the same game quality as the PC, playing a complex game like League of Legends is not a problem on the Xbox One or PS4. However, the mobile version has raised some question marks for some game critics. Can the smartphone really offer a good gaming experience? In fact, there has been a very clear trend towards mobile gaming in recent years. The selection of games that can be found in the app stores is changing more and more into complex and elaborate titles that work surprisingly well on smartphones and tablets.
