Speculation around adding a new attribute to the game has been around in the community for a long time. Most often, these were baseless theories, but they sounded quite plausible.

Wisdom or Will, for example, could become such an attribute. A clue to this is the presence of four spiritual brothers in the game: Ember, Earth, Storm and Void. The latter plays a significant role in the lore of the game.

The announcement of Void Spirit was hype, Eli is clearly a central person in the history of the world of the Battle of the Ancients. Why not honor it by adding an attribute underneath it.

However, the problem here will be the distribution of the remaining 122 characters according to a similar attribute. Such an innovation requires a colossal reworking of the existing DotA architecture and is unlikely to appear in the foreseeable future.

Talking about reworks and rebalancing of heroes is stupid: this will happen with a 100% probability anyway. Finally, we will get rid of the annoying Lina and other broken heroes. In addition, we will probably get a modified economy and other mathematical parameters of the game.
